Guess what else? Beets help regulate cholesterol and healthy liver functions. They can help your body get rid of toxins and slow down the aging process. And pectin in beets helps digestion.
Beets can be eaten raw, cooked, in juice, whatever. Even their leaves are healthy and loaded with potassium.
